Strategic storytelling (now with 100% more AI)

Thursday 20 March 2024, 23:30 - 01:00 UTC, Stage 1

Learn how we can build a strategic framework for our storytelling, and then use generative AI tools to generate variants and inspiration.

We all know stories are engaging. And we know that AI brings the potential to flood the market with stories that are ... not. This session tackles the challenge of using AI to enhance, not dilute, the art of storytelling. While storytelling without strategy is mere fiction, we will explore how to integrate a strategic framework into your storytelling to align user needs and organisational goals and then efficiently use AI as a tool.

Drawing from groundwork in strategic storytelling, we'll dissect successful strategic stories, identify their key elements, and discuss how AI can be used to offer novel variations and inspiration. We will us a framework for storytelling and then adapt AI to generate story variants and analysing structures. This helps us see AI as a beneficial tool, not a threat, and helps us diffuse the fear around this tech.

We will also emphasise responsible innovation, crafting stories with AI that prioritise people's best interests. You will come away empowered with skills and a framework to create engaging, strategically sound stories that have people at their center and to make sure AI works effectively for you and your business needs.
