Apply to be a regional host

Compensation: full all-access pass, three free guest passes, £800 GBP honorarium

Application deadline: Monday 30 September 11.59pm Pacific time

This year we are welcoming applications from around the world to help shape and host our 2025 programme. As a regional host and member of the programming board you will:

• Support with programme design, reviewing a selection of proposal submissions and recommending speakers (we estimate this will take about 8 hours of your time during October and November 2024)

• Promote the Festival in your region and amongst your networks, acting as a spokesperson and advocate for the event and our inclusion and scholarship initiatives (ad hoc social media posts and outreach from November 2024 - March 2025)

• Chair around 4-6 hours of the Festival live including introducing speakers and hosting live chats and conducting mini on-air interviews with guests (18-19 March 2025).

Who we are looking for

We aim to appoint 3-4 regional hosts to become the shared face of Utterly Content 2025 representing:

• Asia-Pacific, including Australasia

• Europe

• Middle East and Africa

• North and South America

We are seeking people from diverse backgrounds to step into these important roles. Ideally we are looking for people who:

• have an existing strong professional network in their region

• have a strong profile amongst content communities

• have a clear commitment to professional development and uniting a global content community

• bring great recommendations and suggestions for speakers and partners from their region that we should invite onto our programme

• are confident on camera and able to sit in the host seat with ease and presence.

You will be strongly supported by our event team behind the scenes throughout.
